Why is CBI going slow against Jagan?
The Telugu Desam Party is suspecting that the YSR Congress party has come to a secret understanding with the Congress party in New Delhi.
TDP spokesman E Peddi Reddy said there was a sea change in the attitudes of both the Congress leaders and YSR Congress party leaders after Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s return from New Delhi recently.
While the Congress leaders have stopped making any comments against Jaganmohan Reddy, the latter has been aggressively attacking TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, rather than Congress party president Sonia Gandhi.
“Even the pro-Jagan MLAs have stopped talking about their resignations; on the other hand, assembly speaker Nadendla Manohar, too, has stopped the consultation process with the resigned MLAs,” the TDP leader said.
He said Jagan might have surrendered to Sonia Gandhi in the wake of the CBI inquiry against him.
“It is clearly evident from the way the CBI authorities have slowed down their investigation against Jagan, but are concentrating only on Gali Janardhan Reddy. There is no progress in the investigation into Jagan’s assets,” Reddy pointed out.
