I'm going to die, but will not drips: Anna Hazar

Anna Hazar Tuesday night refused to be given saline drips and asked his supporters at the Ramlila ground to prevent the government from forcibly moving him to a hospital.

Looking weak in comparison to earlier times, Hazar said - on the eighth day of his fast Lokpal support of a strong bill - that he is not afraid of dying.

Speaking in a faint voice, said the 74-year-old, he was told that his kidneys showed signs of weakening and he needed drips.

Earlier, Naresh Trehan said, the chief doctor at him, Hazar had refused to be transferred to the hospital.

"He did not move from here. So we set it to drip here," he said.
