Solution to Telangana issue would be found soon: Satyanarayana
28th August (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Congress President Botsa Satyanarayana today expressed the hope that a solution to the contentious Telangana issue will be found soon. Yesterday was prime minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy said an appeal to Telangana supporters to show restraint, that the central leadership is likely to take a decision on the issue in another 2-3 months to complete has observed. "Chief Minister has already said. We hope that a solution to the problem will be found soon" Referring to appeal Reddy, Satyanarayana said, told reporters at the airport here before leaving for East Godavari district. He made the remarks at a function in Mahabubnagar district in Telangana region, where supporters of statehood, raised slogans in support of their claim. Satyanarayana said the issue of resignations from MLAs, Kadapa MP YS loyal to Jagan Mohan Reddy, is in the courtyard of the Assembly Speaker Manohar N. The PCC president began a tour through parts of town today, starting with East Godavari district in order to rejuvenate the party and contain the effects of Jagan. During his two-day visit to East Godavari district, he is scheduled to meet party workers in different locations and to other programs.
