Call to KCR from Delhi soon?

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao is most likely to be called to New Delhi within a week to strike a deal on Telangana, if sources from New Delhi are to be believed.

AICC incharge of AP affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad, who had different rounds of talks with leaders belonging to Telangana and Seemandhra regions, is learnt to have submitted a report to Madam Sonia Gandhi and there was a preliminary discussion in the core committee over the issue.

Simultaneously, Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana is also believed to have submitted his own report on the political situation in the state.

Sources said the core committee is learnt to have come to an understanding on the bifurcation of the state, with a compromise formula on Hyderabad status.

A decision would be taken only after consulting the TRS president. Once an agreement is reached, further steps would be taken and an announcement could be made, sources added.
