How Chandrababu Naidu lost credibility:
1. Moving away from pro-farmer & pro-poor policies in 2000 - TDP lost core vote bank. Before that, people used to treat Congress as pro-employee party. YSR grabbed the opportunity with both hands.
2. Shifting between BJP & Communist parties: No one is believing in TDP.
3. Supporting Telangana: Who beleive in the party when party deviated from core principles. One should not deviate from principles just for the sake of electoral gains. Leader will gain credibility if he stands for some thing – irrespective of short-term political gains/losses. Telugu Desam is for Telugus.
