SRK says he’s no superstar
Shah Rukh Khan has been accorded many tags: “King Khan”, “Baadshah of Bollywood”, but the actor says he himself has never believed in any of them. “I have been working in this industry for the past 20 years, but I’ve never felt like a superstar,” SRK says. “When people call me one, I feel nice…when they call me baadshah, I feel nicer. But I don’t believe in any of it. If I was truly a baadshah, I wouldn’t be worried every Friday. Every Friday, I have to ensure that my work is appreciated.” His family plays a big role in keeping him grounded, SRK says, “I try my best to be humble, but sometimes at home, I misbehave. Then I am scolded for it as well!” Jokes apart, playing to the gallery has kept the superstar on his toes: “The energy comes from the fact that every time I go out there, I want to do better, look nicer, work harder.”
