CBI searches “Sakshi” office again
The CBI sleuths again sought the "Sakshi" newspaper offices of Mr. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday in possession.
Accompanied by some bank officials, the CBI officials continued their investigation into the financial transactions of the company.
Meanwhile, representatives of Bharati Cements, another of Mr. Jagan, the company appeared before the CBI on Saturday. The CBI sleuths carried out searches at the home of Mr. Ranga Rao, "Stylish Homes' director, in connection with the EMAAR case. Earlier on Friday, sealed the CBI suspects the house as that Ranga Rao had fled to the United States. On Saturday, the premises in the presence of Ranga Rao kin opened and searched it. the CBI officials were searching in three offices in Delhi and Hyderabad EMAAR. the CBI warrants from the High Court has received for this research on Friday.
It was alleged that the state government had lost Rs 40 000 crores due to the reduction of government expenditure to six percent in the APIIC and EMAAR agreement. The CBI is now looking into the loss zone.
